Accrediting Agencies

ChildLab is fully authorized by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Health Care Financing Administration, to accept and perform laboratory testing on human specimens. 

PPAC

Pediatric Pathology Associates of Columbus (PPAC), Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary corporation of Nationwide Children's Hospital providing the professional medical and scientific staff to ChildLab for anatomic pathology, cytogenetic, molecular and clinical pathology services. 

The corporation consists of the MD pathologists and Ph.D. laboratory scientists providing sole and dedicated clinical lab service, teaching, and research support to Nationwide Children's Hospital medical and support staff on all aspects of laboratory diagnostics for inpatients and outpatients. PPAC incorporated on July 1, 1998. You are encouraged to contact the members for all questions regarding laboratory diagnostic testing and interpretation.
