Electronic Health Record
Printing, sorting, scanning, charting and reviewing lab results is a time-consuming task and often accounts for a large percentage of the paper in a healthcare provider’s office. Many Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems today can manage lab data in a more meaningful way than just attaching an image to a patient’s chart. As a bonus, the Federal government provides incentive funding for Medicaid providers who invest in an EHR certified for Meaningful Use.
In addition to offering ChildLink™ in your office, ChildLab has successfully setup interfaces to send lab results electronically to several EHR systems, including Allscripts, Athena, Centricity, eClinicalWorks, Med3000, NextGen and others. ChildLab is willing to work with other vendors, too.
