Information for patients

The Department of Laboratory Medicine provides a wide range of pediatric diagnostic services for hospitalized and ambulatory infants, children, and adolescent patients. These services are designed to optimize the entire process of specimen collection and transport, lab testing, reporting of results, and consultation with the ordering physician to insure appropriate interpretation. A professional staff of 14 pathologists and doctoral scientists is available for discussion of any aspect of laboratory testing.
